The race itself has changed a lot
during the past years even though the basic concepts is the same as
in the beginning:
the swim starts near the harbour and is absolutely not easy ! The waves, the current, the
lay-out- this all makes the swim rough and not a push-over. The fact
that it is always too warm for wetsuits might add to the
difficulties.
The bike course leads along the
beach and combines the famous Kleopatra beach with the eastern part
of Alanya. Given the profile of this second leg, it is very
difficult to gain ground if the swim was not perfect!

And finally, the undulating running course through the city centre
closes a fantastic and exotic race at the end of the season.
